Sorry for the delay. I was off the grid for a couple of days and I am
just catching up on email (and on this list it is lengthy...).
Yes, I have been doing Android development and just recently submitted
an article to SystemiNEWS that starts with a 5250 app and walks it
through web app (CGIDEV2 and PHP) and then mobile web app (again CGIDEV2
and PHP) and then into a native app using PhoneGap (could do native Java
app as well).
So, yes, I guess that qualifies as "Android development against the
iSeries" although in my particular case it would be IBM i rather than an
iSeries...
