I'm currently working in health care in the US, and believe it or not,
EDI document compliance is actually tending toward a limit of being sort
of adhered to (more or less.) Thanks uncle Sugar. It's a lot better than
it was a few years back. We also only have 3 EDI versions to worry about.
At one time I worked in a distribution environment though, so I can
appreciate the issues. If you want to get paid, you do what the customer
wants. End of story.
