Which brings up other issues...
- We thought we'd save on disk space by removing the observability of all
programs on the system. We had that great idea about a month before RISC
was announced (we got totally hosed!).
- Based on the website provided does that mean it gets harder or undoable
after V5R2?
- Based on the 6.1 program conversion guide you can still remove
observability, if it was compiled with V5R1 or later , and STROBJCVN will
still work on it. PDF page 9 (printed page vii) of

So what happened with V5R3 that affected this vendors product?
