Hi guys,

Thanks for all of the suggestions and sorry for the delay in responding.
One man shop and other things got in the way...

OK I figured out how to create a virtual tape device but now I have no
IDEA how to move a library from the one tape to the virtual tape. I've
tried Googling this (how I found to create and vary on the virtual tape
device) and just got really confused...

Thanks!

Chuck

dup it to a virtual tape
dup it back to physical

or
swap printed labels on the tape cartridges so the meaning of each stay
the
same

or
use generic tape names like BRM0001, BRM0002, BRM0003 and then you could

use BRMS to save the library at the appropriate times and be able to do
stuff like
WRKOBJBRM OBJ(ROB/BERENDT) OBJTYPE(*ALL)
and see all the volumes it is on:
Save Save
Object Library Type Date Time Volume
BERENDT ROB *FILE 4/05/11 20:58:46 BR0041
BERENDT ROB *FILE 7/21/11 17:38:12 BR0130

Let's say you want to go back to two months ago. Could you?
