The real issue being, RTVS36A is the wrong command. The RTVS36A command intends only to retrieve the S/36EE definitional attributes, not the *session* attributes of the job in the S36E. That is, the RTVS36A command correlates to the actions of CHGS36A, not to the OCL which might have changed the related attributes of the session.

Ideally there would exist a CL RTVS36SSNA or RTVS36JOBA to return what is available from the SysRqs-3 while running in the S/36E; i.e. details that are not available to RTVJOBA.

If the CLP for "if strs36prc fails then call qcapcmd" functions to enable finding the value of the ?FLIB? Files Library Expression, then that could be wrapped in a custom retrieve command.

Regards, Chuck

Just now looked at command help. Pretty useless to only return the
default libraries for FLIB and SLIB.

Unfortunately, the command returns what is defined as the default
(usually QS36F), not what the current files library is.
