Is it possible that the login & password for the FTP session does not have the needed authority to clear the msgq?

The remote command should work just fine as long as the library list, current directory, and login are all acceptable.

Hello ,

I'm trying to clear msgq using ftp rcmd in a bash script but i always get
CPF2357 message.

i tried to call a CL containing with my bash script>> it failed
i tried to call clrmsgq directly from bash script and it also failed

Has anyone an idea about this ?
