not detected could also mean "it was installed but somebody moved it",
do you have the original rack config? i make a habit of saving the
result of going DST, op1 op7 f6. it prints a nice rack config (in
hardware, not logical mode).
It seems like a p6 or p7, what kind of box is it? you can check de
memory placement rules and see if you should have it or not, also,
check what position is reported by each, it may be sharing a slot
(which confirms it was another stick in that place)...
