Jerry,

CD-R media are fine so that's not the issue.
When the media is in the drive on the 250 and you do WRKOPTVOL do you see the volume? Can you drill down into it? You should be able to.

Are the images you have .BIN or .ISO format? I have had issues in the past putting the .BINs onto plastic. Sometimes renaming .BIN to .ISO it works but sometimes that makes a mess. How did you burn them (You don't have a .bin file on the CD-R do you? )

I have the last CUME for V5R1 (please, hold down the laughter, some of us

dupe disc wrong (always a possibility) or CD-R is not a compatible media
type. Anyway, the CPYPTFCVR command comes back saying that "No PTFs on
device OPT01 met the selection criteria." Even when I use SELECT(*ALL). Now
that isn't reasonable so there is a problem.

If it is the media type, what is the correct media type, and where would I
get it? Staples, Office Depot, and Office Max only carry CD-RW and CD-R.
If I fubared it, I'll try again.

Thanks.
