Hi Mark,

Yes the conversion was done. Our VAR support was in to help us with that step.

It seems to only affect the batch jobs at this point. Everything else seems to be running fine.

*NOTE:* V6R1 forces re-encapsulation of all unconverted *PGMs and *SRVPGMs on "first use" and this can negatively impact performance, at least, initially.

Submit a job to run the STROBJCVN command for each library containing your applications, shortly after completing the restore operations, and preferably before you start using the system for "live" production operations.

Did you run that STROBJCVN for your libraries? If not, it is not "too late"... you may want to go ahead and do that now ... the sooner you get this conversion done, the sooner performance may return to (more or
less) "normal"...

We finally completed our upgrade to v6r1 on the weekend on out 520 box. The upgrade was flawless with the exception of having to turn off Extended Passive Mode and Extended Port Mode for some of our FTP jobs. However, I noticed that since the upgrade our system is running abnormally slow - batch jobs are piling up and the overall system performance is lethargic.
