Haven't heard any rumors of any impending changes to load source disk
size. I think the last change was in the upgrade to V5R4.
The 7.1 infocenter has this bold heading "Load-source disk unit
requirements" at
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v7r1m0/topic/rzahc/rzahcstoragespace.htm
But then never goes on to say what they are.

I submitted feedback on that.

Last I remember was that V5R4 required 17GB or larger. I don't think I'd
go lower than 35GB just because who knows what might happen in the future.
