I believe that IBM frowns upon the selling of used systems, and makes
it near impossible to do said things. What i know is that up to v5r4
you had a physical paper with the keys for the OS for a machine serial
and proc group. But starting in v6r1 i think you only get the keys via
the ESS site.
If anyone has more info the company i work for deals regularly in used
iseries and would benefit from such a procedure if it exists...
