How does it know that 'YOU' are the same person on all 16 sessions when there are 4 different IP addresses and 16 different user profiles?

Remember OS licenses are NOT by Session. They are by Persons. Example 'I'
can sign on from 4 different PCs at my desk and start 4 sessions on each of
those devices all with a different user profiles( 16 sessions and profiles
total ) but 'I' only need '1' license as long as no one else uses all those
sessions. OS also only counts profiles that do not start with a 'Q' when it
calcs the number of users ( profiles )

I can't fathom this lpar ever having 27 interactive sessions on it.  It
only runs Domino.  QCTLSBSD is still at QBASE.  Nothing of interest there
for any programmer who knows what a 5250 session is.  Definitely of no
interest to a user with a 5250 session.

Now, my big 9117-MMA doesn't even show Feature 5052 on WRKLICINF.  I am
thinking there's two ways to do control interactive usage.  Some hardware
or some software.

Back on the 8203 I tried the audit.  Peak Usage Count date/time must not
be when the peak usage actually occurred, just when they recorded the
count for that month.  The reason I say this is because that is at end of
month.  And this is a H/A and Domino backup machine.  We're never running
on it during end of month.  We do our switches at other times.

Brian, believe this is what your talking about.

wrklicinf, look for option 5052, hit f-11 will show you the numbers, then
hit F23 until you see option 11 to print audit information.
