I haven't donated. I have my own charities, and I'm not a member of COMMON. Rather than point to the dollar amount, how about taking one last shot to explain how these funds will benefit the community at large? I mean, it's a nice idea to send someone deserving to COMMON, but the money eventually ends up going to COMMON. So tell me how this helps the community. If you can convince me, you may be able to convince a couple of other recalcitrants as well.

Folks:

We've got 1 day left in the Al Barsa Challenge ... and we're at $1690 in total contributions.

I really hate to see funds left on the table ... let's try and get to $2000 before 5pm tomorrow (Central time, Friday) so we can maximize the matching donations from Townsend Security, iTech Solutions, and Value Added Software (heck, they're rich ISV's anyways ... right?<grin/>).

Details can be found at http://urlq.us/barsa2011.

As always, if you have any questions, feel free to contact me privately.
