Check that:
- The terminal is connected to port 0 of the twinax controller
- The address of the terminal is set to address 0

What kind of terminal are you using ?

Howdy,

I got myself a 520 off of Ebay a few weeks ago, and I’m having trouble
logging on. I have a twinax terminal connected to port 0. When I brought
the machine up and attempted to sign on I got a “CPF 1110 – Not authorized
to workstation” error using QSECOFR. After a bit of searching, I attempted
a manual IPL to get a DST sign on. Unfortunately, during the IPL I now get
A6005004 which indicates the machine can’t find the console.

Any idea how I can get the box to recognize the twinax terminal?

Thanks,

Tony
