That article validates my theory
(that the changes that I propose to the PF's will help improve performance),
But what are the implications of doing the
CHGLF FILE(MYLIB/MYLF) FRCRBDAP(*YES) ACCPTHSIZ(*MAX1TB)
on my logical files, as suggested in the article?
All of the LF's currently have FRCRBDAP(*NO)

I'd be inclined to do it as I think it might help the initial load of
data to the system, but normally would not bother. Nothing worse than
waiting for a conversion to finish so anything that shortens it even a
bit can only be good.
