Darn good point on a 'full system integrity check'. We have a domino
agent which tells the i to use it's native email to send out an email to
yahoo. We have a special account at yahoo that forwards the email into
Domino. That tests that SMTP is still running on the i, it can go out to
an outside service, the outside service can get back in and Domino email
is working. We have a matching agent on another box to monitor the
monitor. If turnaround is unacceptable I get electronically notified.
