No how many appliances don't like the "-" in the domain? I had to get a
special firmware for our IBM TS2900 so I could have it email our support
desk with any problems. Then I get this "We need to upgrade the firmware on
the tape drive and library because of changes in the OS that broke the drive
communications. Now will the upgrade have our Special email address fix? I
will let you know after I load the new firmware.
Had the same issues with email gateway, PDU's, NAS, and I cannot remember
the others. The email gateway thru me for a loop. I love standards, what a
waste of bits.
As far as your domain name change, I would look at email services
configuration you may run on the partition. Do you use and external LDAP
server for single sign on?
