Yes, there certainly is. You should have at least 6 virtual disks per hosted partition to get really good performance when hosting IBM I on IBM i.

I am getting ready to configure a couple of IBM i on IBM i Guest partitions today. I thought I had seen at one time a suggested / recommended max number of storage spaces per vSCSI controller. Has anyone seen or remember what that number is?
