It won't matter, because when you do the RSTCFG the tape drive will be varied on, and the old device description won't be restored.

Box B, will be on 6.1 based on Box A tape, LTO5 tape drive on new machine.
How should the RSTCFG portion be handled since the tape device will be in use and from the old machine it would be of a different type.
