Don't let hate blind you. Look at infocenter. Check out

for retrieving license key information.

Then again, maybe compiling test source is the way to go. Are you
assuming that the customer didn't run any CHGCMDDFT's on the compiler
commands? Slapped a command exit point on it to throw an exception
message that says "Only dweebs use CRTRPGPGM - migrate to ILE!". Or a few
other possibilities.
