We've had our V6 box on Sec40 since installation, and we've had our V4R4 development box on Sec50 for many years. I'd have to power up our V4R2 box to know what it's running at, but it's at least Sec40.

Generally (at least in our experience), if software fails under Sec40, it does so because it uses hacks instead of documented public API calls.
