We've got an iSeries running V7R1, and my boss just got a new PC with Windows 7 Professional 32-bit. He did the iSeries Access install off the IFS, and the emulator works fine, but when he went in to iSeries Navigator and set up a connection and tried to
use it it just hung, with a little picture of the iSeries and an arrow going around and around. He tried opening it with "run as administrator", but the same thing happened.
Are there "dos and don'ts" for installing iSeries Access on Windows 7? For one thing, I'm not sure he was signed on as an administrator when he did the install -- is that necessary?
Thanks very much for any suggestions,
