RE: AS/400 Administration Commands

Tell me about it! I had to train a new hire to write CL while still doing
my job. So I flipped him a copy of Ernie Malaga's CL book and told him I
would check back. Ernie used PWRDWNSYS as his example of how to interpret
his diagrams, bold, italics, etc. This newbie actually typed the command
(at the system console as that was the only one we had available - duh!) and
pressed Enter. Twinax environment; sessions started dying from the end of
the line to the front.

The IBM i environment is different than where you probably came from. You
can really make a mess by entering commands without knowing the underlying
concepts.
