Hi John
I realize that it's frustrating, but there is NO ONE clear cut answer to your question.
The error messages that you list
File AVNAA1 in library ABUNNTINB already exists.
Should be self-explanatory.
The question is - what command caused this error message
CPYF
CRTDUPOBJ
The next question is - what should I answer.
There is no clear cut answer.
What was the objective of the programmer?
What did the programmer expect to happen?
If this file should NOT be there in the first place, then hand it back to the programmer or programming group and ask THEM why is this happening?
If it doesn't matter that the file is there, then hand it back to the programmer or programming group and ask THEM why is this happening?
You have to go back to whoever is your supervisor/boss and ask THEM what you should do?

John,
As a rule of thumb if you are replacing a file you want to check for its existence before replacing it somehow (CRTDUPOBJ, CPYF,etc).
If it already exists take the action appropriate to what you are doing.
From your message it appears you are trying to replace an existing file (ABUNNTINB) in one library with a version in a different library.
1. Check for ABUNNTINB in the target library (ABUNNTINB). If found rename it or delete it. Depends upon what you are doing.
2. Move ABUNNTINB from your source library to ABUNNTINB.
