Hi Rob,
We also use SPS Commerce. Nick Radich was the one who informed me of them. They handle all of the EDI translation and AS2 stuff. The documents we get and put with them are all in xml. We just had to map to their specs.
If I remember correctly we were charged a 1 time setup fee for each trading partner and then a 1 time setup fee for each document that is traded. I remember each fee being reasonable. After that you pay for blocks of documents. For example, we pay x amount of dollars a month and that covers x amount of documents. If you go over x number of documents, overage charges will be incurred.
I am satisfied with them.
Regards,
Grizzly

Are the files already translated when you download them from SPS or do you have to manually map them on your machine? For example, does the data still contain EDI segments like ISA and all that or is it something more normal?

Hi Rob,

We use SPS Commerce as our third party EDI provider.

I FTP to their site and download the files I need, and process them here.
The same for our outgoing transactions.

Very inexpensive. :-)

Thanx,

Nick

Searching prices for EDI products that run on the i. The annual
maintenance for whatever the name of the day for Innovis is a killer.
