Pete,

I respond to every call for presentation submission and also appreciate the presentation exposure I've been given at COMMON.

I also have some new session ideas I will submit for next year as always.

My rant was more of a commentary about the seeming lack of .Net content within COMMON events and the lack of anyone spearheading getting more content.

I've never once seen COMMON poll members or talk to this group about the need for more .Net content. Although maybe I am wrong.

I always ask my session attendees to feed back if they want more .Net content and apparently they have spoken or NOT spoken :)

I don't know or care about the politics of the organization, but you guys should find a way to get MORE .Net content in to the machine NOW, not in 2-5 years :-)

Ask the members and if they don't respond then continue down the path but in my opinion the organization is ignoring a vital part of the programming spectrum without any MS .Net content.

If you want IBM i developers to stay with i, give them ammunition :)

Richard,

I don't think it is a matter of being invited back or not, but each conference when the call for presentations go out, you would need to resubmit your sessions.

Hopefully this coming year when the call is announced, you will submit some. In addition, I will try to remember to cross post the call for presentations to ML so that everyone is aware of it.

Pete
