According to the "IBM Power520/550 (POWER6) System Builder" document; you
can use the following adapter:
Feature Description Supported OS's
#5721 PCI-X 10 Gbps Ethernet-SR Fiber-LC Adapter A, L, i
This was the only 10Gbps adapter listed for i. There may be a PCIe card
now supported, but I couldn't find it using the system builder information.
If you're already running a 5706 dual 1Gb ethernet card, then you're not
using SNA, even if you wanted to. That card does not support SNA traffic.
There's a software replacement to SNA, but it doesn't sound like you need
it.
Thank you,
