Thanks Jack. I'm going to try that on a test LPAR and see what, if any, problems it causes.

Thanks

You could omit them on your rst portion.

Hi,

Does anyone know of a way to restore a system to a different LPAR
WITHOUT restoring the EIM configuration?

The Info Center talks about the following objects for saving/restoring EIM:
QUSRDIRDB library
QUSRDIRCL library
QUSRSYS/QGLDCFG (*USRSPC object)
QUSRSYS/QGLDVLDL (*VLDL object)
/QIBM/UserData/OS400/DirSrv

Would it be just be as simple as omitting these on the restore? This
would be a scratch install too they wouldn't exist if not restored. Is
that likely to cause other issues?
