For logon validation/logging, I'm using exit point QIBM_QTMF_SVR_LOGON,
format TCPL0200
For command validation/logging, I'm using exit point QIBM_QTMF_SERVER_REQ,
format VLRQ0100

We must be talking about a different exit point. The one I programmed for
(for FTP) was called BEFORE the action occurred; as an custom authorization
check. I was not aware there was an AFTER.
