I believe you need to create a custom Media Definition file (*MEDDFN) with a system API. I let this same scenario "bite me" a long time ago and swore to never let it happen again. In other words, it's going to be painful. Perhaps you can specify the *MEDDFN in the BRMS recovery options, but I doubt it. You can always use native SAV/RST commands against objects saved via BRMS.....but specifying the *MEDDFN on the restore.
If possible I would re-save with a serial backup. If not, then replace that single drive with a small tape library. Otherwise, best of luck to you. Hope your outcome turns out more successful that mine did.
