It appears that your question has already been answered, but I wanted to 
inform you that it is possible use the "IN" clause with multiple columns in 
a subselect, so here is another way:

Select * From miscchg
Where (ASHPNBR, ABLDNGD)
      In  (Select distinct ashpnbr, abldngd From miscchgtmp)
