In addition to the other responses, wouldn't it just be easier to write to the .csv file directly and email it? Or just send an email from RPG with the data in it and skip the file too.

I'm reminded of a process we used to have that copied from a spooled file to a PF to a source file to STMF then FTP off to another site. Extra steps with no benefit. (It looked like a nail, so someone got out the hammer.)
