About three years ago our Project Manager told me, after I had created a
View in order to query some info: "Please create a proper (DDS-based) RPG
program for that: I don't trust all that new SQL stuff" :-(.. Fortunately,
I think that she has now accepted it (somewhat) , as she has (I supposed)
realized the productivity gains that come from using SQL.

She still does her joins using QRY/400, though... :-)

Regarding DELETE, what I like to do is to create a view with the specific
SELECT statements, query it, just to be sure and then delete FROM the view.
That way, I can be sure that what saw in the select and my delete
statements agree.
