When I mentioned keys, I was thinking there were some that the IBMer needed
to enter via the HMC to enable certain functions ( not the OS/App Lic keys

Been awhile, but we've done that exact thing.
Actually, I forget, and we only keep detail time tracking for about two
years and I'm pretty sure it was before then.
I don't think it's the CE's job to handle WRKLICINF information. I'd go
to IBM's ESS site and see if your keys are loaded there. If not, ding
your BP. There is that 70 day grace period...

Looking at the cost and other items, I assume this change involves
A. Changing a chip that reports the model # etc
B. IBM CE doing all sorts of VooDoo with IBM keys.
C Lots of paperwork changes at IBM.
D. We will ignore Vendor SW keys for now

Any of you folks that have been involved with this change remember about
how long it took the IBM CE to do all this?

Thanks
