Very doable, no dream. I run V7 Access against any number of machines, some all the way down to V5R1. Be sure to get the correct version (32bit vs. 64 bit) and apply the service packs from the web site. Based on your descriptions I think you already have the service pack thing covered.

List, Happy New Year to all!

Ok, I am having issues with my current IBM iAccess for Windows V5R4. My iAccess for Windows has also SI37892, as stated on:
http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/power/software/i/access/windows_sp.html

everything works OK but my only problem is that I cannot drag and drop documents normally. I always get the xxxxxx.tmp file that comes out of the process. Besides the software for V5R4, I also have the DVD for the IBM iAccess for Windows V7R1. I am looking forward to resolve the drag-n-drop issue and I thought that maybe I can upgrade my client program to V7R1. Is this a doable thing? Am I dreaming?

My laptop is a LENOVO ThinkPad T430 with Windows 7 / 64-Bit Operating System

Please advise,

TIA!
