You mean those same "various and sundry vendors" that
everyone hates actually pay $$ so that attendance is free!
Or in the case of the larger Common conferences they pay $$
so the attendees cost is more affordable!

Them evil #$$#%%$#@ how dare they!!

Actually there are a ton of sponsors for this so I'm pretty
sure COMMON's expenses (and then some) are more than
adequately covered.
