I've been reading this thread with some amusement. I was one of the very earliest adopters of the Rational tooling, back when it was the barely functional WDSC that shipped secretly with the box in a stack of nearly unmarked CDs, and I remember what buggy bloatware really was.

That's not to apologize for any bugs in the software today, but just to draw a comparison.

Anyway, I just got done teaching a roomful of green-screen programmers the new Rational tools and there was nothing but eyes lighting up and oohs and aahs. The Outline view, the Screen Designer, the Search functions, and of course the joy of SEPs. :)

Maybe we're all just a little too jaded.
