QNOTES, with a password of *NONE, won't play well with QFileSvr.400. IBM
says that if change the password on QNOTES that evil things will happen,
very evil. QNTC is also discouraged.
The thing about mounts that's sounding good is that it's platform
independent. I could have domino agents running on domino servers hosted
either on i or Linux and they should work the same. I suppose I could
create symbolic links to QFileSvr.400 and QNTC but it doesn't solve my
original problem. Besides, QNTC has sporadic issues if it's hosted on
Windows. If some clown creates a share (even though that's not what
you're using - just it's existence may cause an issue) longer than ?11?
characters than sporadic failures may occur.
