Hi Buzz,

Shrug.. David's suggestion is great if what you need is very simple.

But, from your original post, it really sounded like you wanted to write 
a shell script, which can be a great deal more sophisticated than just 
running multiple commands.

A shell script is a whole programming language, it can have IF 
statements, read files, perform loops, have subroutines, the whole 9 yards.

Although QShell is a unique invention of IBM's, it's extremely similar 
to other Unix shells.  If you Google for "shell script tutorial", you'll 
find tons of material to start with.   Then, you just need to look at 
the Info Center to see which parts might be slightly different in QShell.
