Whoever told you that was being very disingenuous since a simple fibre card in the new system would have sufficed. It is true the IOP/IOA combination on your old system would not directly come across, but the the fibre cards on P7 boxes are very reasonably priced. You can use your 3583 fibre attach with no problem. I have three of them on my system here at Agile.
