Several of our users have recorded macros with IBM i Access for Windows
so as to speed up their data entry on an application. Wonderful time
saver.

For example.
Adding an item to the Item Master and Item Branch files.
Start Keystroke recording at the appropriate step.
Record all Function Key presses, Tab keys entered, Page Up/Down keys,
Enter keys, as the user navigates through the various green screen
videos.

Once the macro has been recorded and saved, future data entry is much
faster.
Just play back the macro.
Of course, the green screen programs edit/scrub all data so that no
dirty data can be entered into production system.
