Right, i guess we'll do the old "install into development and see if it
breaks". Shame they want to install into dev a wednesday and then on
saturday go to prod. Oh well, i'll try to get them to do a full save at
least.
I'll skimp over the coverletters for the entire group but for my own
benefit, i doubt the client will read them all.

Thanks All!

There is no one PTF which is the TR ptf. Sure there's a MF99006, which is
the TR6 "enabling" ptf. But TR6 is a group of PTF's. Sure you could find
out which PTF's compose that group. And read the cover letter for all of
them. But that still won't give you the whole picture of the enhancements
or fixes which compose those PTFs. IBM is trying to move that to wikis
but their wiki product could REALLY use some work.

The Memo To Users won't provide much information concerning the current TR
levels. They should read the cover letters for the TR PTF and the PTF's
associated with the TR.

Subject: 7.1 TR1-6 Memo to users?

Hi all,

I'm assisting a customer that wants to get up to date on ptfs, they have 2
machines running 7.1 but i havent yet reviewed the ptf level.
I wanted to make them read each of the memo to users since i'm under the
impresion that each TR changes lot's of things (and may break some).
A quick google and ibm-site search has failed me. Is there a quick link
for them?
The implementation side i've gotten down pat with a dry run the other day
on one of my machines (when i found out the whole: better to slip the LIC
than to update to TR6).

Best Regards,

Roberto
