Wasn't there a certain gentleman from Rochester who used to tell the story
about Microsoft attempting that same move, and killed the project when 23
IBM machines became 1250 Windows servers?

Nowadays, it's the folks from IBM Global Services collecting those checks.

Hmmmm

Talked to a gent just last night at our local user group whose migration
from IBM i to Windows servers is hitting this same size issue. Oh,
they'll get around it. You just throw a lot more money at it than you
would for an IBM i solution. He's a consultant and the check is good so
what cares does he have?
