You would need to probably write a wrapper around Crystal and calling the i or use something like STRPCCMD or our Office Integrator that can be used to mix i and PC processes.
Crystal cannot kick off an i job directly that I know of.
However you could pre-generate XML files and then schedule the Crystal runs if these are dailies or weeklies. It all depends.

I think they want the Crystal as the driver so that they have various users
in many locations. It seems that is easier for the work flow process.
Is Crystal Reports able to kick off an I job?
