Had an old customer call today w/pc console dropped in power outage,
but system (on ups) and rest of office stayed up (someone flipped breaker on the floor,
and "someone" removed console pc from ups).
OPS Console program on pc just hangs with "console connecting" msg.
Some old posts indicate need to ipl system, but IBM took me through the steps to
reset from within Service Tools.
This IBM doc lays out the steps, using RESTART (no parms) and then LANSTATUS (no parms) to verify.
