I'm pretty ignorant about CCSID but how would the data work on our system
then? I will ask about CCSID.

My first thought is CCSID. What is the system default at the user site vs
your site. How is the client configured that has the problem? And so on, and

No real 5250 terminals are in use at either site, all PC's using Client
Access as emulator.  Didn't check versions of emulator, but will.
