Not sure what you mean, this should give you one view of all records but they would have the field names Field1, Field2, etc. instead of the field names in the file.  Field AAField1 from File1 and BBField2 from File2 both would be mapped to Field1 in the view.  Or maybe I am misunderstanding what you are trying to accomplish.
