Who would divest a business unit making a 30% margin?

Perhaps a company that realized it was investing in something that was breaking its contracts with its customers, business partners, and employees in order to accommodate its shareholders. By contracts, I don't mean written ones. I'm referring to the perceptions and understandings that are established by day to day, month to month, year to year interactions.

I admit that it's a tough call.
