I have a question. Have you ever tried a restore from that site?

Yes, several times. We automated the restore, using CL command scripting and RPG. But we're just using cloud storage for user data libraries and IFS directories which are stored in *SAVF objects which are zipped and encrypted, using ARP-ZIP, and stored in separate destination directories for each day of the week. We're not using cloud storage for *SAVSYS.
