<snip>
'Display Disk Configuration Status' screen shows ASP 1 as 'unprotected',
while all four disks show 'RAID-5/Active'??).
</snip>
This is common. One is the protection for the ASP. The other is the
protection for the individual disks.

On one system where I have straight raid 5 protection I see:
Serial Resource
ASP Unit Number Type Model Name Protection
1 Unprotected
1 Y680JNVJVZ9C 433C 099 DD117 RAID 5
2 Y680JFY5XPZC 433C 099 DD011 RAID 5
3 Y680JFY682WC 433C 099 DD001 RAID 5
...

On another system with the two CEC drives mirrored and the rest of that
same ASP in a raid5 set I see:
Serial Resource
ASP Unit Number Type Model Name Protection
1 Mirrored
1 Y2103LN2GHHM 433C 050 DD002 Controller
1 Y2103LN2H6KB 433C 050 DD001 Controller
2 21-99BB3 4328 072 DD004 RAID 5
3 21-A2113 4328 070 DD005 RAID 5
4 21-9A855 4328 072 DD003 RAID 5
5 21-9A8E6 4328 072 DD007 RAID 5
...

The two mirrored drives have their protection on the same controller. The
rest of that ASP is on RAID 5 protection.

I can see your confusion as to why that whole ASP says "Mirrored" now.
After all, only two drives in the ASP are mirrored. While the other ASP
says Unprotected when all drives in the ASP are in one raid 5 set or
another.
